Specialized Support for College Students Navigating Eating and Body Image Concerns

Eating disorder therapy for college students in Cincinnati

We understand that college can bring new pressures: academic demands, independence, and social expectations that can all contribute to disordered eating, body image concerns, or anxiety.

Our Blue Ash-based team provides compassionate, evidence-based therapy for college students seeking a healthier relationship with food, body, and self. We help students balance recovery with the demands of college life, both on and off campus.

Our Approach

Evidence-based care for young adults

We specialize in therapies proven to support young adults during this transitional life stage, including:

  • CBT-E (Enhanced Cognitive Behavioral Therapy) for eating disorders
  • DBT-informed therapy for emotion regulation and self-compassion
  • Trauma-informed care for students with past experiences impacting current health
  • Collaboration with student health services, dietitians, and medical providers for coordinated care

Our approach helps students develop self-awareness, resilience, and skills for long-term well-being.

GETTING STARTED: SCREENING & INITIAL ASSESSMENT

The first step in becoming a patient at EBHA is completing our brief screening questionnaire and scheduling an Initial Assessment & Consultation. Please answer the screening questions as thoughtfully and accurately as possible—your responses help us:

  • Confirm that outpatient care is appropriate for your needs
  • Identify any urgent or medical safety concerns
  • Match you with a therapist whose experience best fits your goals

Your first session is a consultation and diagnostic assessment (not a guarantee of ongoing treatment).

  • For eating/body image concerns: ~90–120 minutes
  • For non-eating concerns: ~60–90 minutes

During this session, we’ll discuss your history, symptoms, and treatment goals. Afterward, we’ll collaborate on a personalized care plan or provide referrals if a higher level of care is needed.

Complete the screening form below to begin. We’ll review it promptly and follow up with next steps.
