Get to Know Gabriella (she/her)

I assist my adult clients in reaching their goals surrounding their relationship with food, health, and overall well-being. I value the strengths and history that each of my clients bring to the table and hope to work collaboratively with them to introduce interventions that are truly helpful. I don’t shy away from taking a multidisciplinary approach to treatment, which may include integrating your physical health, mood, trauma history, and anxiety into our treatment approach. Trusting a clinician in therapy is brave and something I never take for granted. I consider our time & work together to be a great privilege. That guides me in creating a therapeutic environment that is comfortable, calm, non-judgmental, productive, and often fun!

I work with each of my clients to identify their values and ways that they can live more consistently with their values. My therapeutic approaches also include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Enhanced Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Eating Disorders (CBT-E), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT).

I completed my undergraduate training in psychology at Loyola University New Orleans, where I received my Bachelor’s of Science. I went on to complete my Master’s of Science in clinical psychology at Ohio University, where I am currently a student continuing to pursue my doctorate degree and have received specialized training in the diagnosis and treatment of eating disorders.

I have received specialized training in the assessment and treatment of eating disorders throughout my education at Ohio University and will be supervised by EBHA expert, Dr. Carolyn Fisher. I value my growth as a clinician and consistent with that goal, am always seeking out additional training opportunities whether they be consultation, workshops, or books/ research articles.
