I work with both children/adolescents and adults struggling with eating disorders and co-occurring mental health concerns. I work from a mostly cognitive-behavioral treatment approach, and implement CBT-E, CBT-AR, as well as Family-Based Treatment (FBT) for children and adolescents. I also have clinical experience in treating OCD (using Exposure and Response Prevention), anxiety disorders and depressive disorders.
I earned my undergraduate degree in Psychology from The Ohio State University and my Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of Cincinnati. I am currently receiving specialized training and ongoing consultation at Eating & Behavioral Health Associates (EBHA) to support thoughtful, evidence-based care for individuals with eating disorders.
During my time at OSU, I worked in a graduate research lab within the psychology department, where I gained a strong foundation in understanding mental health conditions and evidence-based treatment approaches. This experience continues to shape my clinical work, as I focus on understanding each person as a whole, while recognizing how emotional, psychological, and social factors interact to influence well-being. I have a strong academic background in eating disorder research and am currently completing additional specialized training in CBT-E, CBT-AR, and Family-Based Treatment (FBT).
