Get to Know Olivia (she/her)

I primarily work with young adults and adults who have eating and weight-related concerns, as well as individuals struggling with depression and anxiety. I strive to collaborate with my clients, supporting their needs and implementing evidence-based practices to achieve their goals. I am passionate about client care and providing a warm, compassionate environment while valuing the therapeutic relationship.

When working with my clients, I utilize evidence-based practices such as Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Radically Open Dialectical Behavior Therapy (RO-DBT) to target and treat their concerns. I strive to provide care for my clients, support their needs, and work collaboratively in the therapeutic space.

I completed my undergraduate degree in psychology at The Ohio State University. Then, I attended Ohio University, receiving my Master’s of Education, specializing in school and clinical mental health counseling.  I am currently pursuing my doctorate in Counselor Education and Supervision. My research interests include clinical supervision and eating disorders/disordered eating.
Prior to joining Eating and Behavioral Health Associates, I was a Clinical Counselor Graduate Assistant at Ohio University’s college counseling center. I worked with college-aged students in many areas related to college and external stressors. I provided one-on-one therapy and groups specifically related to body image and perfectionism. Due to my previous work at The Center for Balanced Living/The Emily Program, I also have expertise in eating disorders. I have worked in multiple levels of care (PHP-OP), supporting clients individually and in groups. Throughout my training and career, I have provided psycho-education to the community, college students, and supports/families on topics related to eating disorders and clinical supervision. I am passionate and dedicated as a therapist and bring this to my sessions.
